Arimbi is a 60ft fibreglass cruiser built in the USA in 1994 which has been customised to operate surf charters in the Mentawai Islands. 'Arimbi' has a cruising speed of 10 – 12 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. Although many of the main breaks in the area are listed below, being able to cruise around the islands means Arimbi can access all the breaks within the Mentawai's and beyond
Arimbi's accommodation, the saloon area is furnished with comfortable lounges to lay back and watch a movie on the TV, listen to music or to just admire the surrounding tropical coastlines through the large panoramic windows
Guest accommodation is in 3 separate cabins, and there are 1 bathroom with toilets and showers onboard. Arimbi's upstairs fly bridge is an ideal area to enjoy the ocean sea breeze
